I’m over here sparking with excitement because my favorite season is just around the corner….FALL and the start of a new school year. When I was little, I knew I was born to be a teacher and in fact I’ve taught kindergarten and first grade (Sparkle Goals Accomplished).
I know teach college but that doesn’t stop me from making and buying school supplies for other teachers and myself. In looking back 2 years ago I shared some easy DIY back to school supplies and it stumbled on my that I have never shared some of my favorite things I keep in my planner bag which is a must have for anyone heading back to school to stay on track with all the things.
One of my favorite things is my planner bag itself- I am not ashamed to say that I change my bag often but then there are times when I stick with one bag and go for months on end.
I grew up in the smell sticker and Lisa Frank era so stickers have always been a part of my style. I keep a set a productivity stickers, a seasonal sticker book, and then a few other smaller sticker books that I am enjoying at that time in my bag as well. I will be 100% honest- I am a monthly planner so it is very rare that I use the weekly pages.
Another addition in my planner bag is a pair of tweezers…from time to time I use them to lay a sticker straight.
Any planner Belle knows, a planner bag is not complete without pens and emergency planner discs. I will switch my planners from time to time but for the most part I am a happy planner girl. I also prefer metal discs but I keep a few in my bag for emergencies. Another thing not shown in the picture is washi tape…in truth I keep a roll of washi tape in my car just for random things that pop up…lol
Let’s talk pens…I am picky about a planner pen and because plans change I prefer to write words only using Pilot Frixon pens…they make them in lots of colors. I have found the black ink erases the best and I will often use pink because it is my favorite color. I don’t have them in this picture but my favorite highlighters are the double ended Mildliner by Zebra.
The last thing I keep in by bag is a current book. I do have a Kindle but as an avid reader there is something about the smell and turning of traditional books that I just love. The Energy Bus book is a regular favorite in my bag just because I use it to check the energy I am bringing when interacting with others.
I hope this post inspires you to start a planner bag….what’s something you would add to your bag? Comment below and as always….
