Hey Belle Hey-
Welcome to May ! Can you believe Mother’s Day is just around the corner? One thing I love to do for holidays is to add a personal touch to my gifts. Sometimes it’s a card and sometimes it’s the gift itself.
A few blog posts ago, I unboxed my mini-embosser but I will be honest… I haven’t used it since that post. I was looking for a way to jazz up a few simple gifts and I thought adding an embossed tag would be perfect. Let’s get to what you need to repeat this simple DIY:
This DIY can be simple or extra fancy. I am using some pre-cut brown gift tags. You can purchase them in your local craft store like Michaels or you can make them on your Cricut (this will be a Christmas DIY). From there you would select your embossing folder (I opted for a heart) and then a pen or stickers if you would like to add a sentiment.
The most important part of this is your sandwich… (not your favorite one for lunch)with your plates put together you will place your tag inside the embossing folder and use the hand crank to move your craft through the embosser.
Once your sandwich has come out the other side of your embosser, take the sandwich apart to reveal the embossed gift tag. You can make one or more gift tags.
#BelleTip: I keep a recipe card box with some premade gift tags for holidays or other special events.
